Hi my name is Nanuk.

This is my story....
I am a care free "fur baby" enjoying life with my foster family. When this Highway Angel came to my foster families home in Elmendorf Texas.
Unknown to me that I was chosen for the greatest job to be a service dog. Not every dog gets to have this great honor. Don't get me wrong, it's great to be a "regular" dog, too! You know getting the owner to spoil me rotten is fantastic, especially after being in "training" all day!
It's not like being a "working dog", either! I have to admit, that's a great life, too. It's the family that takes care of you mostly and guess what.....you get to be a "dog" at the end of the day.....yippee!
You get the best of both worlds....being a service dog and a "fur baby" at the same time.....Why not! Most of all, I get to take care of a "hooman"!
What a great responsibility!
Anyway, on to my the "travel experience".

"It started for this "fur baby" from Elmendorf Texas, traveling to Rutland Vermont... (Captain's Log....Star date...April 12, 2021)

Say "Hi" to Nanuk and his sister: awe the two really are liter mates. Look at those faces....will melt your heart!

And we're off.....time is of the essence.....fighting the elements....traffic and weather....headed to the great state of Vermont!

"Oh wait, can't forget my best friend (Mr Blackie). Ok, now let's hit the road my "Highway Angel"!

Hey Texas from Vermont. Arrived and now in the process of "transferring" from a "fur baby" to a "working/rescue" dog.
Life has given me such a "dogs" satisfaction....My name is Nanuk and I'm truly blessed!
